Payment History, Invoices, and Billing Controls

The Bills section shows your complete payment history, lets you download invoices in PDF format, and gives you control over recurring billing — including the option to disable auto-renewal.

What you can achieve:

  • Access payment history: View every charge — subscription renewals, plan upgrades, and credit top-ups — with the exact date, amount, and payment method.

  • Download invoices: Get a PDF invoice for any payment. Add your company and VAT details in Profile → Settings to have them included on all invoices automatically.

  • Manage recurring billing: Toggle auto-renewal on or off from the Bills section without contacting support. Your access continues through the end of the current billing period after disabling.

Getting Started

  1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Bills (or go to Profile → Billing → Bills).

  2. The payment history table shows all charges: date, description, amount, status, and payment method.

  3. To download an invoice: click the PDF icon next to any payment row. The invoice includes the details you entered in Profile → Settings → Billing information.

  4. To manage recurring billing: scroll to the Recurring Billing toggle at the top of the Bills section. Green = enabled, gray = disabled.

  5. To disable auto-renewal: click the toggle, enter the confirmation word when prompted, and confirm. Auto-renewal is cancelled — your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Key Metrics Explained

  1. Payment history table: Lists all charges in reverse chronological order. Columns: date, plan/product description, amount charged, payment status (Paid / Failed), payment method.

  2. Invoice PDF: Each paid charge has a downloadable invoice. Invoices are generated immediately after payment — no delay. Your company name, address, and VAT number appear on the invoice if added in Settings.

  3. Recurring Billing toggle: Controls whether your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing cycle. Toggling off cancels future renewals without affecting the current period.

  4. Payment methods: Serpstat accepts major credit and debit cards. The card on file is shown in your billing settings. If your card expires before renewal, Serpstat notifies you by email.

Pro Tip: Add Company Details Before Your First Invoice

Invoice details cannot be retroactively applied to past payments — set up your billing info before the next charge to ensure invoices are correctly formatted.

  1. Go to Profile → Settings → Billing information tab.

  2. Enter your company name, address, and VAT number (required for EU/UK business accounts).

  3. Click Save — these details appear on all subsequent PDF invoices generated by Serpstat.

  4. To get a corrected invoice for a past payment, contact Serpstat support with your billing details and the payment date.

⚠️ Important: Disabling recurring billing does not trigger a refund for the current billing period. Your Serpstat access and all features remain fully active until the end of the period you have already paid for. To reactivate auto-renewal, toggle the Recurring Billing switch back on at any time.
