Links Intersection

Compare referring domain profiles across 2–3 competing sites to find shared donors and link gaps.

Find the Referring Domains Your Competitors Have — That You Don't

The Links Intersection report maps the overlap between referring domain profiles of 2 or 3 domains you enter. It shows which donor domains link to all of them, which link to only one or two, and — most importantly — which link to your competitors but not to you.

What you can achieve:

  • Build a pre-qualified outreach list: Identify donor domains already active in your niche — they link to competitors, so they know your topic and are more likely to respond to outreach.

  • Find shared link sources: See which domains link to all analyzed sites — these are the most important players in your niche's link ecosystem.

  • Visualize competitive link gaps: The Euler diagram makes it immediately clear how much overlap exists between your link profiles and where the largest gaps are.

Getting Started

  1. Navigate to Backlink Analysis → Links Intersection in the left sidebar.

  2. Enter 2 or 3 domains in the search fields at the top of the report.

  3. The Euler circle diagram and comparison tables load automatically.

  4. Click any area of the Euler diagram to filter the tables below. For example, click the segment that belongs only to a competitor to see donor domains you are missing.

  5. Sort the detailed donor table by SDR descending to prioritize the highest-authority targets first.

  6. Click Export to download the filtered list in CSV, XLS, or XLSX.

Key Metrics Explained

  1. Euler circle diagram: A visual map showing overlap between referring domain pools. Each domain's circle is sized by its total referring domain count. Overlapping areas represent shared donors. Areas are clickable.

  2. Summary table: A compact breakdown to the right of the diagram showing the total referring domain count for each analyzed site.

  3. Donor: The address of the referring domain linking to the analyzed sites.

  4. SDR (Serpstat Domain Rank): Authority score of the donor domain, 0–100. Higher SDR donors pass more link equity and are higher-priority outreach targets.

  5. Link counts per domain: The number of links from each donor to each of the analyzed domains.

Pro Tip: Build a Prioritized Outreach List in Minutes

Click one area of the Euler diagram and export — that is all it takes to get a ranked list of your most relevant link-building targets.

  1. Click the segment of the Euler diagram that represents domains linking to two competitors but not to you.

  2. The detailed table filters automatically to show only those donor domains.

  3. Sort by SDR descending. The result is a ranked list of high-authority donors already engaged in your niche.

  4. Export the list. Use it as your starting point for outreach — these domains already understand your topic.

⚠️ Important: The Links Intersection report supports up to 3 domains at once. For broader competitive analysis, run separate comparisons and combine the exported data. The Recrawling URL Tool lets you request a manual re-check of up to 500 URLs per day. Credits are not charged. Unused daily credits do not carry over.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I compare more than 3 domains?
A: The report supports up to 3 domains at once. For broader competitive analysis, run separate comparisons and combine the exported data manually.

Q: What does SDR measure in this report?
A: SDR (Serpstat Domain Rank) reflects the authority of the donor domain based on its own backlink network. Higher SDR donors generally pass more link equity and carry more weight with search engines.

Q: How do I export just the domains linking to competitors but not to me?
A: Click the segment of the Euler diagram that represents only your competitors. The detailed table filters automatically. Then click Export to download that specific selection.
