Build Automated SEO Reports With Serpstat and Reportz
Reportz is an automated reporting platform that integrates with Serpstat to pull domain and keyword data into customizable dashboards. Use the integration to track and present SEO metrics for clients or internal stakeholders — without compiling data manually at the end of each month. Reports update automatically and can be shared via a URL without requiring Serpstat or Reportz access from the viewer.
What you can achieve:
Automate monthly SEO reports for clients: Build once, share a URL — Reportz dashboards pull the latest Serpstat data automatically so your report is always current without manual updates.
Create transparent client dashboards: Share a live Reportz dashboard URL with clients so they can monitor their domain's performance in real time — without giving them Serpstat access.
Combine Serpstat data with other sources: Reportz integrates with multiple data sources — combine Serpstat domain metrics with data from Google Analytics, Search Console, or ad platforms in one dashboard.
Getting Started
Create a Reportz account at reportz.io (free trial available).
In Reportz, go to Integrations → Serpstat and connect your Serpstat account using your API key.
Create a new dashboard in Reportz and add Serpstat data blocks: domain info, domain history, or domain keywords.
Configure each block with the domain you want to track and the metrics you want to display.
Save the dashboard and copy the shareable link. Send it to your client — they can view it in a browser without logging into Reportz or Serpstat.
Available Serpstat Data in Reportz
Domain info: Current visibility, keyword count, estimated traffic, PPC keyword count and ad count — snapshot metrics for the domain as of the latest data update.
Domain history: Historical time-series data on keyword count and visibility — use this to show trend direction and progress over the reporting period.
Domain organic keywords: The list of keywords the domain ranks for in Google top 100 results, with metrics — useful for showing keyword growth to clients.
Pro Tip: Replace Monthly Report Exports With a Permanent Dashboard URL
Most agencies waste hours each month rebuilding the same report. One Reportz dashboard per client replaces the entire export-and-format cycle.
Set up a Reportz dashboard per client with: Domain info block (current status), Domain history block (30/60/90-day trend), and a Keyword count trend chart.
Send the client the dashboard URL at the start of the engagement. It's their permanent reporting view — always current, always accessible.
For monthly check-ins, open the same URL in your browser during the call. No deck prep, no export, no formatting — just live data.
The goal: Free up time spent on report assembly and redirect it toward client strategy.
⚠️ Important: The Serpstat-Reportz integration requires API access on your Serpstat account, which is available from the Team plan or higher. The integration is labeled as BETA by Reportz — check reportz.io for current feature availability and any known limitations. |
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
