Export Any Combination of Page Data From Your Crawl

The Custom Overview report does not show errors — it shows raw crawl data. Select any combination of page parameters and get a full table of every crawled page with the corresponding values. Use it to build custom technical reports, audit specific parameter groups, and export data for analysis in external tools.

What you can achieve:

  • Build a custom page data table: Choose exactly which parameters to display — URL, Title, Description, indexing status, redirects, HTTPS, AMP, hreflang attributes, and more — and see them all in one exportable table.

  • Audit specific parameter groups independently: Instead of reviewing errors by category, analyze the raw values for any parameter across all pages — useful for audits focused on a single technical area.

  • Export structured data for developer handoff: Download the full table in CSV format and share it with developers as a precise list of pages and their current technical state.

Getting Started

  1. Navigate to Site Audit → Custom Overview in the left sidebar.

  2. Click on a parameter group to select it — available groups: URL, Title, Description, Links, Body, Indexing, Redirects, HTTPS Certificate, AMP Pages, Attributes, Viruses.

  3. Click Apply and use the checkboxes to add or remove specific columns within that group.

  4. Use the filter panel to narrow the table to only the pages relevant to your analysis.

  5. Click Export to download the table in CSV Open Office or CSV Microsoft Excel format.

Key Metrics Explained

  1. URL: The crawled page address. All other parameters in the row correspond to this specific URL.

  2. Title / Description: The actual text content of the meta title and description tags on the page — not a pass/fail check, but the raw values for review.

  3. Indexing: Whether the page is open or closed to search engine indexing, and via which method (robots.txt, noindex tag, canonical).

  4. Redirects: Redirect chain data for pages that redirect to another URL.

  5. Attributes: hreflang tag presence and configuration — relevant for multi-language sites where language/region targeting needs to be verified page by page.

  6. Viruses: Malware detection status for each crawled page.

Pro Tip: Use Custom Overview for a Title Tag Audit Across All Pages

All Issues tells you which pages have title problems. Custom Overview shows you all title values at once — essential for spotting duplication patterns and length issues at scale.

  1. Select the Title parameter group and enable the Title text and Title length columns.

  2. Export the table to CSV.

  3. Sort by Title length in your spreadsheet — pages with lengths outside the 50–70 character range need attention.

  4. Scan the Title text column for duplicates — identical titles on different pages are a common issue that Custom Overview makes easy to spot at scale.

⚠️ Important: Custom Overview shows raw crawl data — not error analysis. Use All Issues for error detection and prioritization. Use Custom Overview when you need the actual parameter values for pages, not just a pass/fail assessment. Export is available in two CSV formats: CSV Open Office/Libre Office and CSV Microsoft Excel (CP1251).

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How is Custom Overview different from All Issues?
A: All Issues shows errors — pages where a parameter value falls outside acceptable ranges, ranked by severity. Custom Overview shows the raw parameter values for every page, without any error classification. Use All Issues to find and fix problems; use Custom Overview to inspect and export the underlying data.

Q: Can I filter the Custom Overview table by a specific URL path?
A: Yes. Use the filter panel to apply URL contains/does not contain conditions. This lets you focus the table on a specific section of the site — for example, only blog pages or only product pages.

Q: Why does my export not include all pages?
A: The CSV export includes all pages that match the current filter settings. If you want all crawled pages, clear all filters before exporting.
