Monitor How AI Models Describe Your Brand
LLM Brand Monitor tracks how AI assistants describe your brand when users ask questions. It checks 140+ models — including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity — and shows you which models mention your brand, how often, with what sentiment, and how competitors compare. Use it to find gaps in AI visibility and take concrete steps to correct them before they affect conversions.
What you can achieve:
Measure your brand's share-of-voice in AI answers: See what percentage of relevant queries result in your brand being mentioned — and how that compares to competitors across each model.
Identify where AI models misrepresent or omit your brand: Spot models that default to competitors, describe your product inaccurately, or leave you out entirely — before those gaps reduce buyer consideration.
Get concrete steps to improve your AI brand presence: LLM Brand Monitor provides recommendations based on what the models are saying — so you can prioritize content and outreach that shifts the narrative.
Getting Started
In Serpstat, go to LLM Brand Monitor and click Create Project.
Enter your brand name and add up to 5 competitors you want to track alongside your brand.
Add monitoring queries — type them manually or click Generate to let the AI suggest relevant prompts based on your brand and category.
Select the AI models you want to monitor. You can track all supported models or focus on the ones most relevant to your audience — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and more.
Set up automated scanning — choose a schedule for recurring checks so the dashboard stays current without manual runs.
Review the dashboard. Each check shows mention trends, share-of-voice, sentiment, and a per-model breakdown of how your brand and competitors appear in AI answers.
Key Metrics Explained
Mention rate: The percentage of monitored queries where your brand appears in the model's response. A low mention rate means the model is not including your brand in relevant answers.
Share-of-voice: Your brand's mentions as a proportion of all brand mentions in the monitored query set. This shows how you rank against competitors in AI-generated answers.
Sentiment: How the model frames your brand — positive, neutral, or negative. Neutral framing in a comparison context can still put you at a disadvantage versus a competitor described more favorably.
Competitor positioning: How competitors appear in the same queries — which models favor them, how often, and with what framing. Use this to identify where you lose the AI-generated recommendation.
Mention trends: How your brand's mention rate changes across checks over time. Sudden drops may signal a model update or new content shaping the model's training data.
Pro Tip: Find Your Weakest Models First
Not all AI models treat your brand the same way — focus improvement efforts on the ones with the widest gap between your brand and competitors.
Run your first project with all major models enabled. Review the per-model share-of-voice breakdown.
Sort by models where a competitor's mention rate is more than 20 percentage points above yours — these are the highest-priority gaps.
Use LLM Brand Monitor's recommendations to identify what content or sources those models rely on — then target that content in your outreach.
The goal: A ranked list of models where your brand is underrepresented — so you know exactly where to invest optimization effort first.
